Verticase is one of those alpacas that you know are very special the day they are born! Verticase was like no other alpaca that was ever born on our farm; he was amazing from day one! It was a joy to watch him grow and mature into the Elite Herdsire he is today. Vericase is the half brother to the infamous Snowmass Matrix who sold for an amazing record- setting $675,000 to Ernest and Barbara Kellogg in February. Both of these elite males were sired by the late Snowmass Quechua. Quechua himself was a legend of his own, awarded multiple years in a row with the prestigious title of Futurity Herdsire of the Year!
Verticase fleece contains all of the characteristics that any serious Huacaya breeder would look for in an Elite Herdsire. His fleece is extremely fine yet still carrying amazing amount of density! The results of his skin biopsy show that his density is 110 follicles/sq.mm which is off the charts!!! Norm Evans said “Quechua’s Verticase scares me as I have never measured a mature alpaca that is this dense with this type of micron count!”
Verticase has the genes to prove himself to be one of the most Elite Herdsires in our Industry today. Upon reviewing his pedigree you will find the names of most of the top Herdsires in U.S. history…Peruvian Hemingway, PPeruvian Caligula, 6Peruvian Accoyo Elite, Snowmass Ccatanca, and PPeruvian Vengador. Herdsires like Verticase are few and far between and rarely parted with.

Description
Some of the best genetics in the United States herd run through Mila's veins. Her sire, Quechua's Verticase and grandsire, The Elite Maximus need no introduction. This female is a winning combination of genetics from two premiere US studs; Peruvian Hemingway G171 and 6P Accoyo Elite 5057 Impr98. These influential males are stacked on both side of her pedigree. Who wouldn't want these genetics in their herd?! Both Verticase and Elite Maximus have exceptional EPD numbers, which should carry over to Mila.
Mila is a well built, rock solid female with an excellent bite. Her fleece is fine and uniform. She is soft to the hand and carries good density. These exceptional fleece traits as well as her spot on conformation make her a great building block for ranches across the nation. Whether a small or large breeder, Mila would be an excellent female to bring these superior genetics into your herd.
Sold to Blue Line Alpacas.
