Description

Maxine is a young female with a rich, true-black fleece and distinct bay-black shading through her mid-section and neck. Her fiber is remarkably soft to the touch, one of the softest fleeces produced on our farm and already shows a clean, silky drape uncommon for dark Suris her age.

She’s the product of two strong, contrasting lines: Krazy Train, known for compact conformation and density, and Rita, whose color genetics and striking pattern have consistently passed through to her offspring. The result is a cria with an elegant frame, correct structure, and a fleece that balances fineness with developing lock definition.

As her fleece matures, the lock style is tightening into a uniform twist, with luster beginning to push through even in her darkest areas. Maxine shows promise for breeders looking to strengthen black and pattern genetics while maintaining elite handle.
