Skyline Alpacas

Description

Skyline’s Rhiannon is one of the favorite yearlings at our farm. She has an adorable personality, but even better, she has truly amazing fleece. As part of our show string, she was shown three times and received TWO Reserve Color Championships, and a 4th place at AOBA beating out other females who also had exclusively received RCCh placings in previous shows. The judges were just wowed by her fleece. Incredibly bright, crimpy and fine! Rhiannon’s 2013 fiber stats just came in: 19.6 AFD, 3.8 SD, 19.4 CV, 1.1 %>30u. You’ve got to love these stats, especially the SD and CV!

All of this is no surprise given her genetics. Her Sire is ATV Silver Elation, our LSG male that is making quite a name for himself as he continues to sire multiple Color Champions. Her Dam is Skyline’s Giselle who is a product of our Light Fawn Color Champ, Canelita, and Orlando Cloud. Giselle continually produces awesome cria for us, and so far only girls!

We aren’t really anxious to sell Rhiannon given her incredible show record and genetic background, but we’ve decided to offer one of our best as Giselle just gave us yet another adorable female cria, and we do own both Dam and Sire so can repeat this breeding next year.
