1st Place, 2026 TXOLAN Bluebonnet Stakes: Halter, Huacaya Med. Fawn Juvenile Male (Class of 4) (Judge: Kevin O’Leary) Judge’s comments: “I had four entries in this medium fawn juvenile male class here. Standing at the top of the class today was a clear winner. Just a very, very well-organized fleece, expressing a good degree of density. You can look from that head-style, you look at the bone, you look at the depth of chest, the spring of ribs. I mean, he’s carrying all the positive traits you could look at.”
1st Place, 2026 TXOLAN Alpaca Spectacular: Halter, Huacaya Med. Fawn Juvenile Male (Class of 4) (Judge: Jacob Hart) Judge’s comments: “Certainly, I do want to start off by saying, this was a pretty competitive class here. However, coming to the top of the group is this male right here. I do want to recognize the fleece that he’s maintaining. Very soft handling. High degree of organization expressed across the entire length of the blanket. Really showing a solidity of staple there that really does put him here in the first-place position. When he stands up correctly, you can see that he has the width to the chest. Just under 9 months of age, so he’s still maintaining a full dose of conformational attributes as well.”
1st Place, 2026 National Western Stock Show: Halter, Huacaya Fawn Juvenile Male (Class of 3) (Judge: Jacob Hart) (Judge's Comments: "Class of three fawn Huacaya males from the juvenile age category, and all of these males are in the 6-7 month range. So, this male comes as the top, and he certainly is extremely impressive. He was the oldest within this group, and he really does look like it. He’s really maintaining an overall great growth. Great development throughout his entire frame and a very true to type head style to the Huacaya breed. As I take a look at his fleece, he’s maintaining a fleece that becomes more & more organized from skin down to the tips. So I really do want to recognize here the quality that this male is maintaining. Congratulations.")
