Alpaca Country Estates is a working alpaca ranch located in Central Oregon. Our herd, which began with the purchase of 6 loveable Huacaya alpacas in 2006, is now over 1,500 strong. The ranch offers breathtaking views of the Cascade Mountains & includes a fashion design company & boutique store. We also host the annual ACE's Loaded Alpaca Auction every February at TXOLAN!
Our internationally recognized breeding program has an emphasis on uniformity, fineness with a soft handle, brightness, & density. From National High Points to the Futurity's highest honors, our program has been recognized as the gold standard in the country. We have been rewarded with judge’s choice awards & championship banners in every color! We continue to strive to improve upon our high standards within the alpaca community. We are thrilled to announce that Estates XXXTreme Legacy Passion won 2026 Futurity Judges' Choice Award. Sakima daughter, Estates Wind Beneath My Wings, won 2025 AOA National Dark Supreme Champion and Pure Passion daughter, Estates Pure Passion Rose LegacyXXX, was awarded the 2021 AOA National Dark Supreme Champion! Our strong breeding program also won First Place, 2025 AOA National High Point Award for BOTH Halter & Fleece and 2025 Futurity Breeder of the Year. We were previously honored with the 2021 AOA National Heirloom Cup.
One of our strongest assets is owning exceptional herdsires as well as high quality dams. With over 40 current herdsires, Nancy meticulously decides which animal is the ultimate choice to breed to whom, planning every breeding decision for an outcome of soft, fine fleece, with lots of dense fiber on those “teddy bear” critters with their pleasing personalities. There is nothing more rewarding than the thrill of seeing the results of your labor of love, by viewing that newly born cria & knowing that you have another winner!

You will definitely want to take a look at our herdsires, their offspring & the females bred to them! We have females & crias in every shade. Many of our females are pregnant by one of our outstanding herdsires. Males with potential for fiber production/companion animals are usually available at a nominal fee.
