ESTATES EARLGREYS SILVER SANDDOLLAR: Lot 40 - 2026 ACE's Loaded Auction
Lot 40: ESTATES EARLGREYS SILVER SANDDOLLAR - Huacaya, Female, Unproven | Medium Rose Grey | AOA# 35470175 | D.O.B. 6/14/2024 (ASPENALPACAS EARL GREY/AMBER AUTUMN NICKLES N DIMES)
Silver Sanddollar is a stylish and feminine young female with a promising show career ahead. A daughter of our own AspenAlpacas Earl Grey, with Snowmass Silver Signature on her dam side, she carries deep excellence in grey genetics throughout her pedigree.
Silver Sanddollar is well-grown for her age, with a soft-handling fleece exhibiting remarkable brightness, fineness, and uniformity, all laid over a well-balanced, true-to-type frame. Her elegant phenotype and quality fleece make her a desirable addition to any show string or breeding program.
She is the daughter of our champion producer, AspenAlpacas Earl Grey. Earl Grey is sired by DSG multi-champion, Applewoods Phantom. His multi-champion fawn dam is Silver Rose Elegance (who has Cochiti and Legacy as close genetics). Not only are his dam and sire champions, all of his grandparents are champions as well! His paternal grandsire is Jerimiah’s Qualtrain and five-time champion grey. This makes for an impressive pedigree that boasts of Majestic Peruvian Jerimiah, MFI Peruvian Jericho, HA Shades of Grey, Peruvian Presidio, PPPeruvian Augusto, 4Peruvian Legacy, Augusto, Cochiti, Caligula, and Victor! Unfortunately, the covid pandemic limited Earl Grey’s show career.
Her maternal grandsire is Snowmass Silver Signature the "elite grey” from Snowmass Alpacas, used as the standard of excellence in their silver-grey breeding program. Signature is a beautiful, compact, typey male whose outstanding genetics include Snowmass Royal Flush, Snowmass Andean Bronze, 4Peruvian Andean Gold 6019, Snowmass Peruvian Casanova, and Peruvian Bueno.
5X CHAMPION!
We are proud to announce that judge Arturo Peña awarded EarlGrey's Silver Sanddollar a Blue Ribbon and the Color Championship at the 2025 American Alpaca Showcase! She also brought home Reserve Championship banners and Blue Ribbons from the 2025 A-OK Alpaca Blast Off, 2025 Gold Country Gathering and 2025 California Classic Alpaca Shows, as well as another Reserve Champion banner & 2nd Place ribbon at the 2025 Diamond Classic Alpaca Show. Please continue to watch for her on our 2025 show string and at our 2026 ACE's Loaded Alpaca Auction!
Once Silver Sanddollar's showing career is complete, bring her back for her maiden breeding. We highly recommend pairing her with our Judge’s Choice and 35x Champion grey male, Estates Giovanni’s Titanium Royale—a match expected to produce offspring with exceptional fleece, style, and show potential.
Estates Earlgreys Silver Sanddollar is being showcased in Lot 40 of the 2026 ACE's Loaded Alpaca Auction - held February 13, 2026, in conjunction with the 2026 TXOLAN Show weekend!

1st Place, 2026 National Western Stock Show: Halter, Huacaya Grey Yearling Female (Class of 1) (Judge: Jacob Hart) (Judge's Comments: "Starting with the single entry for grey Huacaya yearling. Certainly, is a shame that this female did not have additional competition, or any competition for that matter, because she certainly is competitive in her own right. Starting with her conformation, she really she’s looking extremely overall, quite well put together. A straight top line, strong substance of bone, and an even balance and proportions to her. She’s exhibiting a great spring of rib, and capacity throughout her entire frame which is extremely important within these females approaching maturity and approaching breeding age. As I view her fleece, she just continues to add on even more positive points. She’s maintain a long fleece structure. Very tight crimp structure expressed across the entire length of that long staple, and she’s showing very minimal variation between the shoulder and the mid side, and the rump. As I take a look at the sample on my sleeve, between the white and the dark and brown and black fibers, very minimal variation between those finer and stronger fibers. So certainly, very happy to award a blue ribbon. Congratulations.")
