Welcome to Sandollar Farms!
Welcome to Sandollar Farms; we are a working alpaca farm located in the heart of southeast Washington Wine Country in the Tri-Cities about midway between the stunning Columbia River and the Horse Heaven Hills! But we do many other things!
Our farm tour season is open; you can book a one-of-a-kind Guided Educational Farm Tour any day except Sunday at 9:30am for a fun, once in a lifetime, memory making experience through the end of November! We also offer private tours for groups as well as birthday parties, small weddings, family reunions, photo shoots; etc! Call Nikki at 509.378.6909 to find out if what you are planning could fit into our farm schedule!
For first time visitors to our web page, we breed the extremely rare and beautiful heritage breed "suri" alpaca both for preservation of the breed and for their exquisite fiber! Suri alpacas only represent 5% of all alpacas globally! Two new suri alpacas arrived last summer and are pronking through the pastures; we are expecting five more this year (you might get lucky and book a day when one is born)! The majority of our herd has received multiple ribbons and banners at regional and national alpaca shows testifying to the excellence of our herd!
AND we breed the majestic Great Pyrenees dogs, as a livestock guardian or family companion; if you get lucky, you might visit when we have a new litter! Faith is pregnant and we are expecting the next litter of Great Pyrenees around June 1st; you might just get to see the puppies! And don't forget the chickens, bees, the lily pond with koi and others, Birmingham Rollers etc.
The Sandollar Fuzzy Wuzzy, our onsite farm store, is now open Wednesday thru Saturday from 1-4pm; lots of new products have arrived to delight you! We also have a greenhouse and orchard providing plant starts in the spring and stone fruits during the summer months.
The spring planting season is now behind us and Collins would like to thank all his customers for making it such a success. Our orchard should be producing soon...peaches, plums, nectarines, yum!
So wouldn't you and your family love to come visit? The alpacas and great pyrenees guardians are waiting to meet you!
